WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to my blog, being completely honest I’ve always wanted to have one but I’ve never had the courage or time to take that first leap. I’ve finally managed to make that leap and am very excited to share it with you all. Just to give you all a little information about me, I’m 19 years old and I am currently in my second year studying History at University. Outside of my education I really I enjoy playing and watching football, reading, watching movies and listening to music. These passions are mainly what I’m going to talk about in the future in my blog in various forms. I’m going to attempt to post weekly but depending on university coursework, reading and exams, then also if I have lots of free time that may become less or more. My main aim really about this blog is to improve on my writing and look back on my journey through it also so please expect it to be very messy and uncoordinated whilst I get into the swing of things. Any feedback or constructive criticism is more than welcomed because as I said before I am really new to this style of writing. Whilst giving you an insight into my life a goal of mine is that I want my words to make a difference and make a positive impact in general.

One of the things that I’d love to do is end all of my posts with a quote, maybe something I’ve seen that has given me food for thought for you to take into your week with you. However, this week will be a little bit different as I am aiming to upload a specified blog post tomorrow so that I can set my weekly blog posts to Fridays. So, the quote for this blog is a beautiful one from Tom Hanks during a recent Hollywood Reporter RoundTable interview, saying ‘this too shall pass.’ Just reminding us that no matter what we may be going through it won’t last forever. Wonderful motivation not just for this week but for life.
